Ron and Russ’s Flooring has helped us twice with flooring needs in our house. They recently came and did a floor refinishing job in our kitchen. The two guys that came were very polite and were helpful with instruction on how to care for the floors once they were done. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves and the floors look beautiful. They matched the kitchen floors with our existing hardwood floors and they turned out well. The only thing that struck me as somewhat odd, was that the refinished floors, although beautiful, have no surface shine like our other floors, wish that I had known I needed to ask for that. This appears to be a common complaint from reviewers on other sites- they did put three coats of the sealant on- I saw it, just wish it was shiny. That was my mistake for not asking. But as I said the guys that came did a great job and the price was a relief! Thank you!

Great experience. So far we’ve only used them for carpeting in our living room but will definitely keep them in mind for future flooring needs. The price was great, no issue with quality of materials to date and the installers were quick, courteous and cleaned up well after themselves.

Ron and Russ have really fair prices and their employees do a nice job. Actually installed my carpet 7 years ago and now they removed it and refinished the hardwood floor. They found 3 really bad spots where the wood was damaged underneath and they did a really nice job replacing the wood.

The secretary was super helpful on a Saturday morning. She went about and beyond to get me proper information like pricing and details on the product I liked. I had a great experience with the hardwood floor installation in my condo. Although there were some unexpected issues, I was not charged extra except for leveling the concrete, which I knew might be an issue in advance. The installer was very skilled and did a great job. Ron and Russ were great to work with in choosing the floor and coordinating the installation. I had the floor installed in most of my condo and it looks great, including the shoe molding they installed.

Extremely happy with how our floor turned out! I am no expert when it comes to picking out flooring and matching it with what I currently have. Ron and Russ’ team did a phenomenal job, offering up what they thought would look best and let me tell you, it matches perfect! The gentleman who came and installed the flooring told me everything that he was going to be doing and how long it would take. He didn’t under estimate or over estimate on time. I purchased carpeting and a wood simulated vinyl flooring from Ron and Russ’s Flooring back in February and had it installed at the beginning of March. One of my main concerns was their ability to both supply and later install the flooring’s that I picked given the pandemic and new stay-at-home orders. They not only supplied and installed my flooring better than any contractor that I had purchased from in the past but did so on time, which given the climate of the time was extraordinary. I took time to write this review in order to see how the flooring was given time and can honestly say I would be making all future flooring purchases through Ron and Russ’s Flooring.

We have used Ron and Russ Flooring for our carpeting needs since we bought our house in 2008. They have upfront and reasonable pricing. The quality of their customer service, work and product are top notch. We hvae used them to install carpet on our 3 season front porch and our 2nd floor. We would recommend them to any one that was looking to replace their carpet in the Milwaukee area/Bay View neighborhood.

Absolutely sublime experience – these guys work hard to make sure the job is done and done well. I contracted Ron & Russ Flooring to lay hardwood floors and porcelain tile in my new home. They were fast to get out and see the space, offered me a quote on same day. The hardwood floors were done first – carpet removed and beautifully laid in a very fast time frame. The tile was next and they managed to get it all done in a weekend. Due to faulty grout (no fault of Ron and Russ) from a manufacturer, my grout did not harden correctly. Ron worked tirelessly to get the issue corrected – contacting the grout manufacturer and setting up the logistics of re-laying the grout. Amazingly, this grout also did not set correctly. Again, Ron was constantly available and persistent in getting this issue resolved. I scored top of the line grout due to Ron working with the manufacturer and third time was the charm – i have beautiful solid grout. All these corrections were done at no cost of my own. This was a stressful experience due to the product issues but I was reassured at every step that I would be taken care of and I was – this level of service I can not imagine I would have received from a larger, more impersonal company. For all the reasons mentioned above, I will be a life long customer and cant recommend Ron & Russ enough. Also want to mention the grout manufacturer, Laticreet, was cooperative and accommodating every step of the way.

Fantastic Customer Service!! We purchased flooring from Ronn and Russ Flooring a few years ago and we were concerned after the install with the appearance of the flooring. It didn’t seem to be laying flush with the floor. The installers told us that it would correct over time. Well, that never happened and the flooring only got worse. Russ stopped out recently to inspect the floor and he concluded that the flooring wasn’t put in correctly. Now we were well past the store’s warranty period but that didn’t stop Ronn and Russ from standing behind the product. They didn’t just try to repair the floor, they replaced all of the flooring “and” covered the cost of the install. Who does that? In an age when customer service is usually an afterthought, Ronn and Russ do it the old school way because they take great pride in the business they’ve built. We’re beyond thrilled with our new flooring and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ronn and Russ Flooring to anyone considering a change or update to their flooring. They bring meaning to “going the extra mile” for their customers. Outstanding job guys and thank you!

I would definitely use Ron and Russ flooring again. Russ came to our house for an estimate on carpet for our living room, dinning room, and hallway. He had plenty of options for us to look at. We had the old carpet removed and the new carpet installed the next week. The carpet is great and was at a nice price. The installer was absolutely great!

Russ came out a day or two after I called, gave a thorough estimate of timelines and price ranges based on a variety of materials and finishes, and answered all of our questions. Their lead time and variety of HIGH QUALITY local flooring supply was what sealed the deal (should mention 1 week lead time with R&R vs. 6 weeks with big box retailers). Once we made a deposit, they were able to install within the week!! The installer was knowledgeable and did quality work. He even finished the job ahead of schedule. Ron and Russ have done our carpeting for over 30 years and have done an amazing job. Russ has come to our house on multiple occasions and helped us design some of the rooms with borders and Has given us ideas on choosing the right color of the carpeting. The products he has brought us I have very good quality and the prices have been much better than other similar products in the stores.The installers we have worked are courteous and very professional. Our experience with Ron & Russ’s flooring was amazing. The store is simple, no frills, and makes you feel like the people running it know what they are doing. Ron’s knowledge of carpets added a level of guidance and trust to the process, and Russ’s careful measuring and professionalism set the stage for what would be the best carpet installation we have ever had. Luis, our installer, ripped out and installed three rooms with stairs in one day, by himself. He was like the energizer bunny stopping just briefly for lunch. He was careful, courteous, respectful of our home, and did a job that was better and more precise than larger crews from different companies have done in the past. Dealing with Ron and Russ has been more like dealing with family. They have taken away the stress when it comes to replacing any of our flooring. They are number 1 on our list.
